The Thelma Sweater is an oversized sweater worked from the top down in rib and faux cable structure. It is made in a yarn combination that is lightweight and airy yet warm, making it perfect for late summer evenings as well as mid-winter. The sweater features wide sleeves and an oversized fit, creating a retro and stylish look. The back is worked first, shaped with increases for a drop-shoulder effect. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders, joined to form the front. Front and back are then joined to form the body, worked in the round. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. The neckline is worked in double rib and folded double.
